Boothmonkey is small freelance video and lighting business. I was hired by the owner to create a logo that made the company recognizable but also helped to explain what the company offered in the way of services.  The owner of boothmonkey was actually very specific about what he wanted on his logo.He knew he wanted a monkey of some sort hanging from a lighting rig as well as the logo having a circular look. 

Boothmonkey offers several different services with all of them done with the same professionalism and expertise . I showed this by keeping all items in the logo in silhouette. This made every item in the logo appere to be one piece with no item more important then the others. The silhouette is also used to show that most of the services Boothmonkey performs are done behind the scenes making their clients look good. This is shown through the use of the orange/yellow background. The background color gives the monkey the apperence that it is lighting the background and viewing  it's work from the shadows.
